Q) What's the deal with this site?
A) The core group that you see posting in the guestbook got together in the Cloquet Pine Knot Guestbook. Postings started out discussing memories of Cloquet including people, places, and things. Some posters tended to push the envelope and in doing so were absolutely hilarious. At its peak of activity the PK guestbook was receiving (OMG) over 20 posts a day. Then came along a few who felt they were morally superior to everyone else complained to the PK. The PK's solution was to moderate (censor) the guest book. Since then the place has turned into a graveyard. Since the people who frequented the PK guest book seemed to enjoy the shenanigans that went on there we decided to create a site where people could exercise their 1st amendment rights. Therefore the Uncensored Cloquet Web Site was created.
Q) What do all the acronyms used in the Uncensored Guestbook mean?
A) You will notice that a few acronyms are frequently used parenthetically in the guestbook. Here is what they mean:
A) Tammy was the person who came along and we all believe was instrumental in getting the PK guestbook censored. She had absolutely nothing to add, but frequently complained about the topics that were being discussed. Since Tammy came along, the PK guestbook has turned into a graveyard.
Q) Who is Larry Flyntstone?
"Larry Flyntstone is a contemporary philosopher - a hybrid of thought, represented by two opposite ends of the same animated spectrum. From the crudely secular of adult entertainment to the child-like innocence of a wholesome cartoon, the Flyntstone moniker stands as a testimony to the conflcting cultural mores of current times. A brash realist, he maintains an air of hopeful idealism. Cynical but trusting, naive yet informed, Flyntstone is the everyman - a true American, caught in the crossfire of a dynamic nation at odds with itself."
